Gucci Mane - 3 for Free EP
Yesterday Gucci Mane put out a quick 3-track EP completely free of charge, to keep the fans entertained whilst they wait in anticipation of his album entitled DropTopWizop, that is due to come out early this year.
3 for Free is Gucci's first project of the year and further demonstrates his work-rate following his win of the HipHopDX We Working Artist of the Year last year, which he attained off the back of releasing six separate projects (2 albums, 3 EPs, 1 mixtape) within six months of his release from prison.
All the tracks on the new EP are produced by Shawty Redd. The tracks are entitled 'Ever', 'Sir Brix A-Lot', 'Wasn't Me 'and each one is a tight, clean production with a heavy, pounding trap-star beat and simple, punchy lyrics. With a well-rounded release so soon in the year it's clear that despite his frequent troubles and dramas Gucci Mane is still a capable artist that puts in the work.
